permalink vs. rss problem

hi,

i have permalinks in my blog entries...

the story.flavour file defines it as:

<a href="$base_url/$yr/$mo_num/$da#$fn">permalink</a>

for example today i created a blog entry called 'stallman.txtl'.

in the permalink, it gets turned into:
http://z10n.net/2004/05/17#stallman

that's ok.

but now i checked the rss i generate,
and the link from there goes to:
http://z10n.net/stallman.html

which displays the content i want it to display,
but that page is absolutely not using my flavour files....

ideally, i would like to have the same link in the rss files as my
permalink, so:

1. how can i customize the <link> tag in the rss feed?
2. if i can't how can i customize the look of the rss-feed-linked page?

(of course i'd prefer #1 :-)
