We could also put this functionality in the FileEntry code, if we wanted to avoid a plugin. Have a dict of path->mtime mappings which got populated by something (a plugin?), which the FileEntry would check and use if the current path existed as a key... Uh, I'm not really explaning myself well here. Do you understand what I'm getting at?
