The way I use term 'Karma', doesn't include concept of 'having 5 karma points' ;)

For example, if someone slaughters animals to consume their flesh, this person may gain sympathy from those who take part in this consumption, but not much from people who don't. Some people may even feel a negative feeling to such person. In this scenario various actions, cause various effects including way of relating to each other. All those relations have very subjective and personal nature. I don't even see it practical to use "elf-pavlik's karma points" and "melvster's karma points" since it still gives very lossy projection of a relation between 2 human beings...

But without using any points, if at some point somehow a managed to have available ticket for a round trip on 'space elevator', and very likely tons of requests from people who would like to receive such gift. I could run some personalized algorithms on their public portfolios, and using some sophisticated criteria choose who to give this ticket. As part of this algorithm I could include voting by people who have friend relation with me, or do simple filters like: -butchers ;)
