UX Designer/London/£35,000-£55,000 (forefront of UX design) Seeking to harness the power of the digital revolution to create groundbreaking products and services that take consumers and businesses beyond imagination - my client is now looking to bring in a Mid/Senior UX Designer to develop new product and service concepts for their European market. The position offers a fantastic future thinking design opportunity. The range of projects is vast. The successful candidate will be working with interaction designers, product designers and researchers in a collaborative way to ensure that this global company stays at the forefront of design innovation. You will be working across all areas of multi-platform design from web and mobile to TV and touch screens. You will be at the forefront of groundbreaking technology. Responsibilities: - Responsible for the generation of original concept interfaces for services and applications; - Document design language including icons, widgets and animations; - Create or art direct known UX & UI design collateral including concept definition documents, concept screen designs, scenarios, wireframes and workflows; - Collaborate with User Experience team (and wider studio) to advocate, communicate and raise the profile UX and UI design as an integral part of Total Experience Design; - Present work to stakeholders to get buy-in raising profile of UX/UI as an integral part of the total experience design. Characteristics/skills: - MA or BA in an appropriate course (HCI or industrial design etc); - Must possess portfolio of original user interface design work with a broad array of interface design experience (for example, experience in designing for mobile, small LCDs, TVs, Web, etc); - Proficient to a high standard in both Photoshop and Illustrator, bonus skills include Flash, After Effects or Final Cut Pro; - Exceptional communication skills required coupled with the capacity to present work in a compelling and inspiring way.
