Actually, Ed, it's older than that - April 2000 to be more precise. More
like 11 years.

But yes. Let's do a little housekeeping and see if we can't rejuvenate this
list.

Question: do we need a more formalized mission statement? Or a code of
conduct?

Not to drown us in rules and regs, but a statement of purpose might be very
useful, particularly considering that there are a couple of similar lists in
cyberspace. What is our "market position"? What need do we fulfill that
isn't currently being served by anyone else?
