Calling Lead User Experience Architects! My client is very unique. As an independent full service digital agency, they distinguish themselves from their competitors in a number of interesting ways. Firstly they aim to create great online experiences which are driven by creativity and utility. Secondly they understand that digital is more than just another medium. And lastly, they always start with strategy; it is at the heart of what they do! The business model is pretty interesting too. The agency has recently been acquired by a large digital network. The strategic focus of the agency is to expand. User Experience is integral to the competitive advantage attained by the Agency which makes the role all the more interesting. This is based on the viewpoint that its far more effective to be briefed on business problems than prescribed channel plans. So therefore the Lead UEA would be responsible for defining and executing the vision and working with other team members on the complex digital projects. In terms of culture the agency identifies itself as being collaborative and highlights that the secret of their successful hiring derives from looking for smart and ambitious people to grow the business. There is a direct connection between your contribution and the growth of the business as a whole. The roster of clients is impressive; it is primarily made up of blue-chip companies, spread across different sectors including finance, retail, broadcasting and the public sector. As a design and build agency, much of the work gravitates toward working with clients and senior members of staff to shape solutions for large to very large projects. The specific tasks that you will undertake include the following; · Collecting and synthesising business and user requirements to derive workable solutions. · Rapidly extracting achievable creative solutions from hard problems. · Responsibility for the architecture through content strategy, interaction design and usability. · Participation in the creation of the solution vision and its nurturing as the project is executed. · Producing quality output in tight timeframes. My client has provided me with a comprehensive overview of the specific skills that the Lead UEA must possess. · 7 years+ experience working on digital projects across a variety of different sectors. · Quickly understand the whole project and the needs of the client. · Serve a leadership role on the solution creation and delivery of a large-sized project, or track within a very-large project. · Articulate, confident and comfortable in client facing roles. · Demonstrated ability to produce UXP deliverables from the main areas of responsibility. · Gather Business and User requirements, conduct stakeholder workshops, prioritisation and scoping. · Information Architecture: personas, user journeys, concept maps, site maps, process flows, wireframes and prototypes. · Content strategy, taxonomy, content matrices and Usability, formal usability testing, informal/guerrilla usability testing, user research and analytics. · Must demonstrate expertise (ability to teach) of at least two of the key UXP disciplines, mastery of the other two. · Ensuring the quality of their work is preserved throughout design and development. · Be able to teach the UCD process. · It is an advantage to have experience developing UX deliverables for mobile and other devices. If my clients business model, strategic ambitions and values appeal to you, please send your cv to me at [email protected] Up to £65,000 Dean Small logo Dean Aston Zebra People Ltd.
