I’m not just saying this but I’m genuinely really excited about this unique
User Experience Role I’m currently recruiting for. If you’re looking for a
User Experience role designing for purely tablet, mobile, e reader
applications for one of the best known media and publishing company out
there then read on.

 

Working for a new really exciting digital part of the .com team, my client
is looking for a fantastic all round User Experience consultant to be
instrumental in their applications for both mobile and tablets. Currently a
team of 17 people, split between half commercial and half technical
abilities you will completely own and champion the User Experience. 

 

Role involves gathering business and user requirements, reviewing and
interpreting statistics and other research data and help creating effective
and innovative user interfaces.  

This is a hands on role involving both strategy, research and UX Design.
Expected to carry out quantitative research, more gorilla type user testing.
Important you can be dynamic and smart in your testing and research skills.

 

Clients next two projects are going to involve an android tablet app and
HTML 5 app.

 

Opportunity to completely own and champion the UX role, taking it and
completely making it your own. Not looking to hold your hand, want a self
starter who can solve their UX problems with innovative ideas. Worth stating
that this may be a lone UX role in the team, however there are other
separate UX teams in the company who you will get the opportunity to work
with in a company who is completely bought into the value of User
Experience. 

 

Great opportunity to move into more application work, client is happy if you
necessarily don’t have extensive app experience but it’s vital you have a
good understanding of how different mobile, tablets require difference
specifications, challenges. 

 

Salary; £40,000-£45,000

 

Location; Amazing offices in the heart of Central London.
