If you have a creative eye, or come from a design background then this is useful but not essential. The role also will require significant amounts of confidence and experience in pitching to clients, managing stakeholders and getting involved in client workshops to sell your UX ideas. As most great UX designers should know, in order to be great, your interest and knowledge of the digital industry and its challenges should be a great passion of yours. You should have at least 3 years experience with research, user-centred design and an array of digital products. This should reflect also in your portfolio which demonstrates your early-stage pieces to the annotated wireframes and then to the final result.
