thanks for the tip, I'll give that a try.

I wonder whether it wouldn't be possible for sitecopy to notice these 
timeouts and retry on its own them without needing to rerun sitecopy.

Also, I didn't find a way to tinker with the timeout value, it would be 
nice if one could reduce it. I have the impression it waits too long 
before it continues.
