Missing remote directories. Flag to force the creation of them?

When I try to sync my
    local:/path/to/repository
under
    remote:/path/to/new/repository
sitecopy fails because the remote directory does not exist.

There could be an option to have a flag to force the creation of the missing
directory, so that we can start copying stuff without having to manually
create the directory structure beforehand..
