Hello, I use sitemesh to add a menu to all pages. The appropriate menu to be used for any given page is menu.htm in the directory of the page. So if the URL is http://domain.com/testdir/test.html then test.html will be decorated with testdir/menu.htm. This works fine until a webmaster wants to modify menu.htm. The generated JSP only gets recompiled when test.html is modified. The consequence is that any modification to a menu file requires remembering to make an arbitrary change to all the associated files. I use tomcat. Is there any way round this problem?
