Alas, no one stood up for pydong, and Hamish Lawson's zip-file hack for Windows was persuasive, so the new package name is "pydo"; the requisite changes are now checked in. There is also a new function, "fetch", that enables you to get multiple PyDO objects at once, a la the old scatterfetch, and also to use just about whatever arbitrary sql you want. It gives you enough rope to shoot yourself in the foot. Because it is such a general facility, I think it should supplant arrayfetch and my half-hearted attempt at modelling joins. Would anyone weep if they fell under the axe? Does fetch seem useful? Suggestions, arguments welcomed. j -- Jacob Smullyan
