To be able to use pos serial printer with cups you have to install "Cups serial" to be able to see serial printer. Use "raw driver" and it should work on any serial docket printer. Also, using the perl pack command you can embed a command in "pos-invoice.txt" to open a cash drawer before the receipt gets printed.
