Re: POS printers

This is the command I used to embed a perl command in pos_invoice.txt for an 
Epson cash drawer:" perl -e 'print pack("C",27,112,0,25,250);' >> 
templates/user/pos_invoice.txt". After I ran this command I ended up with it 
at the bottom of the text file. I just did a cut and paste and put it at the 
top of the file so that as soon as you go to print the docket it opens the 
drawer. I think this will work for a number of different drawers from other 
manufacturers as well. If you Google "cash drawer codes" there is a page with 
a lot of info.
