UK chart of accounts, VAT, etc

I'm working on setting up SQL-Ledger 1.8.7 in the UK, running on PostgreSQL 7.2.2 on Solaris 8. It all seems to be installed and running ok, but I've now run into the dilemma of how to setup the chart of accounts, templates, etc. How have other people tackled the COA for the UK, particularly for UK VAT? Does anyone have a UK chart that they would be willing to share, as I'd rather not reinvent the wheel if there are perfectly good ones already out there? Are there any UK specific gotchas I should watch out for?
