It is split about 60% tutorials and 40% activities. 09:00 Session 1: Interaction model - The case for user centred design - How users interact with technology - Goal-mapping and goal-oriented models 10:30 Morning coffee 10:50 Session 2: Understanding users - User observation - Personas - Card sorting - Paper prototyping 12:30 Lunch (included) 13:30 Session 3: Accessibility and design - Common accessibility issues - Navigation - Content 15:15 Coffee break 15:30 Session 4: Explaining interaction - Visual design - Feedback - Usability testing 17:00 End The cost of the day is £395 per place but 3 can attend for the price of 2. There is also a discount for UK UPA and British HCI Group members. The course will be held in central London, near Oxford Circus.
