Anybody want to volunteer to write a short survey > for this purpose? Hehehe, a few days ago, I sent this: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/vkit/message/461 (woohoo public archives!) "... what is needed is a survey of large corporations and educational institutions and find out what browsers and plug-ins are being used most on their standard operating enviroments (SOE), and perhaps why they are not upgrading to the most recent browsers. (Things like cost, infrastructure concerns etc etc but it would be good to know for sure)." ... based on the premise that there are occassions where users do not have a choice about what browsers they are allowed to use. Can this survey be general enough so that it can be used for surveying SOE's too ? For example, it would be good to know things like what version of Acrobat Reader are being used (and so the accessibility features in version 5 can truly be exploited). cheers, -steph random web dudette
