In Opera browser, if you decide to operate in 'no-popups' mode, you won't be able to open new windows. So I say no new windows - and I'm changing the education site I spent a long time writing in XHTML 1.0 transitional valid code :-(
Does opening new windows cause problems in speech browsers as well??
