We should look into the legal structures of small
organizations and see how they're handling things. For
example, what does a Boy Scout troop do for legal
structure? There's got to be one, and it's got to be
simple, I would assume. How about a local pet rescue
organization? Or a Kiwanis club? Those might be some
fruitful examples to investigate.

> 2. What are the ramifications of accepting

we

> without being a non-profit and not have to worry

...or, as a break-even corp, the tax liability may be
$5.12 or something ludicrously low such that it's
easier to be a regular old c-corp than to deal with
the qualifications for a not-for-profit group.
