But where are the TRULY impressive CSS sites...I > seriously would like to see them. > I think this is one of those chicken and egg scenarios. we all know that creating standards compliant sites without using tables is hard work. We all know that the hard work is worth it. Until we can prove that to the people paying for the truly eye grabbing sites you won't see any. since it's mostly web developers that produce trick sites without tables and using pure CSS there are few designery elements. Until designers can draw the site they want and have photoshop turn out tableless layouts we're basically struggling on eye-candy sites. Now if we could find a willing designer type chappie or chappess that would work closely with a brilliant developer type we might be able to come up with some serious eye candy that meets the standards criteria. That would make a good case study. Anyone know any really good designer types?
