Yeah, but if I read that article correctly this 'Hurd' is a web designer 
  - nothing to do with Opera itself. I'm sure c-net didn't have to look 
too hard to find a web designer willing to spout off with something 
contentious.

Lets hope Opera 7 is good and is adopted quickly when it's released.
