[webmin-l] Ubuntu 16 Upgrade

Ok, for the sake of Andrey Repin, I am making this the start of the original 
thread. Hopefully its acceptable.

I was able to get out of that shell and the upgrade completed.

Other issues were mysql had a depreciated reference in a cfg file, which was 
commented out, and now mysql server is up.

Next problem is that PHP's mime is not working.

Ubuntu 16 comes with PHP 7 , however apparently something to do with Apache 
does not put the mime in or possibly the main problem as I found in Webmin 
when I
select ' PHP Informaiton", it says there is a config / path problem. Basicly 
the (3) ini files point to the now definct php5 folder, and we now have php 
in etc/php/7.0
respectively.

I was able to correct 2 of the 3 wrong paths, however I am at a loss where 
the CGI php ini file would be as there is no folder called cgi.
Would anyone know where to look?

I am guessing this is the central point where other applications need to 
know how to use php andis the core problem.

screen -ls

If you can still get to that shell, "fg" may help bring the browser back to
life.
And "qq" usually helps with exit.

lsb_release just reads from files installed in /etc. If they were updated
already, it'll report anything.
