If you did not install PHP's CGI(!) SAPI, then nowhere.

The "central point" is what you want to use.
Apache 1.x handler SAPI? CGI? FCGI(FPM)?
Some asshole in PHP removed Apache 2.x fiter SAPI, so that's no longer an
option.
