Good catch :-)
As far as I know your changes will be preserved.
Please look at your local version of

	/path/to/webmin/lang_list.txt

Does it say:

lang=sk,titles=1,charset=iso-8859-2	Slovak

somewhere? (In Webmin 1.174 it does).

So if you change the translation to the correct codec referring to 
lang_list.txt everything should be ok then.

To double check this I CCed the maintainer of Webmin on this. He can 
bring the final light into this :-)
