WO Deployment Server Maintenance tasks

Hi, We have a very complex and huge WebObjects 5.2 applications deployed on Mac OS X 10.2, i wanted to know what all maintanence tasks can be done to make sure the Operating System and applications are running 24/7 without any problems. Right now i have some cronjobs running which deletes log files which are older than one week(like deleting the WebObjects logs, Applications logs, systems logs and apache log files). Will this have any adverse affect to my deployment server. Do i need to do any other maintenace related to WebObjects and Mac OS X. Thanks for your valuable reponses and advice.
