is it not much better, to try to deploy WO Applicationas as WAR under JBoss
or TomCat on Linux?

You surely know. nothing except Mac OS is supported under 5.3. And I am
pritty sure, its much esier to use WAR file, than deploy on linux.

Is there a good way to verify which version is installed? I'm
deploying on linux. I have 5.2 installed but should upgrade to 5.3.
