Re: WO 5.3+ on Windows

I just tried swapping in new frameworks for old - an attempt at
upgrading to 5.3 from 5.2 on linux. It appeared that I could get
everything up and running - JavaMonitor would work - but if I tried to
access the app from a browser I'd get the standard "no instance
error." I've reverted to my previous Frameworks directory and I still
have the same problem. (I'm referring to
$NEXT_ROOT/Library/Frameworks)

The only clue I think I can find is lsof gives a number of sets like
these even after I've stopped all WO processes -

libhttpd. 30526 apache mem DEL 3,3 213314 /tmp/WOAdaptorState
libhttpd. 30526 apache mem DEL 3,3 213292 /tmp/WOAdaptorState
libhttpd. 30526 apache mem DEL 3,3 213293 /tmp/WOAdaptorState
libhttpd. 30526 apache mem DEL 3,3 213279 /tmp/WOAdaptorState
libhttpd. 30526 apache mem DEL 3,3 213275 /tmp/WOAdaptorState
libhttpd. 30526 apache mem DEL 3,3 213288 /tmp/WOAdaptorState
libhttpd. 30526 apache mem DEL 3,3 213289 /tmp/WOAdaptorState
libhttpd. 30526 apache mem DEL 3,3 213290 /tmp/WOAdaptorState
libhttpd. 30526 apache mem DEL 3,3 213685 /tmp/WOAdaptorState
libhttpd. 30526 apache mem DEL 3,3 213686 /tmp/WOAdaptorState
libhttpd. 30526 apache mem DEL 3,3 213749 /tmp/WOAdaptorState
libhttpd. 30526 apache mem DEL 3,3 213319 /tmp/WOAdaptorState
libhttpd. 30526 apache mem DEL 3,3 213938 /tmp/WOAdaptorState
libhttpd. 30526 apache mem DEL 3,3 213939 /tmp/WOAdaptorState

I think I need to talk to the box admin to reset apache. Any other ideas?

thanks,
matt
