Really?  We too are "stuck" with WO451 ObjC on MacOSX; we find that it 
only works on Puma (10.1.5); we have some intriguing hacks that'll get 
WO/EOF deployment going on 10.2 and later, but they don't work on the 
MulleSybaseEOAdaptor.  We really, really would like to be able to use 
EOF with Sybase via a well-behaved adaptor on Panther... I did start 
writing my own based on Sybase's ctlib, but writing an EOF adaptor is 
non-trivial and I ran out of time.

[That's "stuck" as in "yet to be convinced by anything touted as an 
alternative.]

We're already there.  As far as I know, any hardware that first shipped 
with Jaguar or later won't boot 10.1.5, so we're scouring the inventory 
for older hardware.  Our mirrored drive door Powermacs certainly won't 
do -- we tried.
