what about IntarScript?
it has got an ObjC bridge, can create PDF documents, offers higher level 
statements, fast and simple interpreter, simple syntax, variables  as 
part of keypaths, garbage collection, database abstraction layer, just 
to mention some features;
we do most of our customer's business logic in IntarScript;
