Needed--clinworX Lead WebObjects Developer in Rockville MD

The Henry M. Jackson Foundation for the Advancement of Military
Medicine is a nonprofit medical research organization providing
support services to the military medical community. We offer a

clinworX is a major upgrade to a complete suite of related software
modules used to manage clinical trials in a wide range of disease
areas and treatment strategies.  This software will manage research
data, biological specimens, laboratory results as well as the many
other clinical trial supporting roles. The software is being developed
using WebObjects technology and will be utilized initially for the
Henry M. Jackson Foundation in it many programs worldwide.

Incumbent will be responsible for WebObjects development, acting as
the lead developer for the clinworX software expansion project as well
as mentoring other developers on the clinworX Development Team. The
incumbent will also responsible for development of the clinworX
software for delivery in an n-tiered application model as per
specifications determined by the Project Manager/System Architect.=20

Job duties will include:

=B7 Primary back-up for the project manager and system architect for the
development staff.=20
=B7 Acts as lead developer, managing other developers.=20
=B7 Implementation of and adherence to the RAPIDDS SDLC methodology.=20=20
=B7 Documenting design, development and test specifications as outlined
in the RAPIDDS SDLC document.=20
=B7 Collaborates with technical writer for SDLC documentation and all
other members of the team for development purposes.=20=20
=B7 Mentoring other members of the development team while using the Pair
Programming methodology.
=B7 Interacts with QA and technical writer for overall project
requirements including testing.=20
=B7 Performs other duties as assigned.

Required Education and Experience: BS in computer science or
equivalent experience. As well as 3 to 5 years of Web Objects
development experience. Must also be team oriented with an organized
approach to software development. We are seeking a self-motivated
individual who is able to work independently when necessary and must
also possess excellent communication skills.=20
