First of all, thanks a lot for your meaningful comments, I will read them carefully. I see also no reason not to implement your suggestion above. But the main point of this mail is about WML development: I am not responsive, and did not work on it for a very long time. Even if it is in a pretty good shape (let me know if I am wrong ;)), this inactivity must stop. So I believe that WML should migrate to a collaborative development platform, like Savannah. Did some of you experiment other platforms? We need mailing lists (several -- archived -- ability of sending CVS commit logs/diffs to a ML -- a search engine would also be great), CVS (with import/export of repositories), bug reports.
