I worked with BerliOS a lot for my projects and all in all it was a very
good experience. I took part in an SF-hosted project and it proved to be a
good experience as well as far as SF was concerned.

As for Savannah - I had some problems registering some projects there
(they were quite picky), but eventually was able to. Did not work much
with their resources. They also have some CVS-based way of managing the
homepage, which is less convenient than the BerliOS/SF host-based access.
