Sorry for the late reply. I just needed a bit time to figure out
what the pach acually does, despite of the example ...

  I have been so free to modify the patch a litte, especially
also allow to define groups for the "validator" section.
(I don't think there is really a need for that, it just makes the code
more symmetric).

  Anyway, its now in the CVS. Please report any problems
with the patch to this list.
