Sorry, your post didn't make too much sense to me (as in, you didn't explain 
why AGX may be a good name), but let me re-iterate why I think it is a 
terrible choice for a name:

 - People already use AGX to refer to ArchGenXML. There will be all kinds of 
confusion between the old and the new code. Since one is generating AT schemas 
and the other is generating Z3 code, they are probably going to have parallel 
lives for some time to come, and having to qualify "AGX-the-Z3-one" 
vs. "ArchGenXML-the-old-one" each time we write or talk about it will be hell.

 - ArchGenXML was a terrible name for the old codebase anyway. It doesn't 
generate XML. In fact, XML is just the markup language for the XMI files it 
reads, which really to the user are also irrelevant: they care about UML 
diagrams and Archetypes types.

 - AGX is thus totally meaningless, both from a legacy point of view (it's not 
the same as ArchGenXML) and since it doesn't stand for anything anymore.

Seriously guys - it's early enough that we can re-name, we don't have any 
users using it. AGX (oooh! which one am I talking about? one? the other? both? 
you don't know, do you?) is about making life easier for new developers. I've 
pretty much sold Plone on the case that people can use UML diagrams to 
generate content types and get so much for so little effort. And if it's meant 
to appeal to those users, having an obscure name with an even more obscure 
history surely can't help. "Mmm, I want to try that UML generation thingie for 
Plone, ABX? BMX? XXX? What the hell do I google for?".

I'd like a show of hands of who things AGX is a good name for this project...

My vote goes for 'Genesis'. If that doesn't work for some reason, 
try 'PloneCASE' (don't know how Plone specific the end result will be, 
though), 'ZopeSchemaGenerator' or something in that vein.
