There is almost no reason that AT has to depend on Plone. AT is *infrastructure*, AT is *middleware*. It must *not* depend on something on the application level. Another example for bad design is that some (or all) skins of ATContentTypest are/were part of CMFPlone. Things that belong together should be belong together but I see almost no reason why things are getting mixed up instead of clear separation (having the benefit that frameworks can be re-used in other contexts). This has nothing to do with that those frameworks belong to the Plone core..it's basically a cheap question of software design and architecture. -aj Using Tomcat but need to do more?
