My hope is that schemas will be defined roughly the way they are 
now(this seems to work fine and people like it).  What we really want to 
do is the schema into a proper registration and configuration system 
rather than a mess of python objects and coupling errors.

remember, the schema is a facade. the great thing is you don't have to 
care what all those Field and Widget calls do...if they work ;)

I said that, and it's true in a ontological sense; the word schema means 
something different in each context.  That being said, there is overlap 
that should be eliminated, and richness that both could use.

An easier way to think of it is this: an AT schema is the functional 
equivalent of a number of z3 registration and configuration idioms 
including the z3 schema.

well, if I had limitless time and resources, I have a pretty clear 
picture of how I would do this. Fortunately, I don't have that luxury, 
so I'm seeking consensus and feedback ;)

personally, I would state rough preservation of "Archetypes Patterns of 
Work" as a goal.  As long as the input and output have roughly greater 
or equal ease and power to now, I think we are sitting pretty.

Stated another way, I would love to see AT users be able to use Z3 
without requiring the toilet swirlieing I feel like I had to go through.

Granted, it's not hard, but not everyone has the luxury of picking up 
and learning a new framework every quarter.
