The decision for how to move forward has not been made. It will be 
subject to the usual framework team and release manager review process 
starting August 28th.

There is an AT branch (svn.plone.org/svn/archetypes/Archetypes/branches) 
which includes some integration for Bling. I believe similar work is in 
progress for KSS/AZAX.

I just worry that without enough discussion and buy-in on this list, 
you'll end up doing something that then doesn't get used, either because 
no-one wants it (I don't know if that's the case or not, I don't 
understand the details of what you're proposing) or because the 
framework moves underneath you and your work becomes obsolete. Managing 
that is part of the investment you may have to make, for better or for 
worse.

Note that I'm not telling you it's a bad idea to do what you're 
proposing, only that when someone announces a sprint that looks at 
changing the internals of one of our base frameworks in ways that most 
people here probably have no understanding of, that sets off a few 
blinking lights in my head. :)

On the other hand, if this is something you would've had to do 
internally and you only want to give other people some visibility of 
what you're doing, that is a very good thing. It all depends on which 
light you place it in, and which expectations you have - and this also 
affects the way your contributions will be viewed further down the road.
