you'd have to put html in the tabs - i haven't tested it but you could 
put <span />s in there to make two lines. if you need descriptive 
taglines it's a bit more tricky if you want semantic markup. examples 
available on request.

you could've used google or the search box on the top of plone.org ;) 
http://plone.org/development/teams/ui/ you'll find most plone ui stuff 
there.
