Since all hotfix updates are hosted on plone.org http://plone.org/products/plone-hotfix/releases/20130618 it should be possible to tag all hotfix releases with a special keyword or tag. A Plone collection could provide update information about all release with this tag. Subscribing to the RSS of the collection is then straight forward. -aj Peter Jacobs-2 wrote > We had a user complaining recently saying they couldn’t delete some page > on a plone site. > > There was a corresponding error in the log, and after some googling I > found following explanation: > http://plone.293351.n2.nabble.com/Hotfix-gives-problem-for-delete-confirmation-dialog-td7566284.html > > That info led me to: > https://pypi.python.org/pypi/Products.PloneHotfix20130618 > where I found out there is a recent upgrade to the latest Plone hotfix > (1.3). > > Thanks for all the hard work keeping Plone secure, but maybe you can > communicate about updates to hotfixes more prominently? > Of course its unpractical to publish every fix in some Plone package in > the newsgroups etc., but these hotfixes have to be applied to all Plone > installations, and so issues in these packages impact everyone… > > Kind regards, > Peter > > Peter Jacobs > KU Leuven - ICTS - Belgium > > > ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ > This SF.net email is sponsored by Windows: > > Build for Windows Store. > > http://p.sf.net/sfu/windows-dev2dev > _______________________________________________ > Plone-developers mailing list > [email protected] > https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/plone-developers -- View this message in context: http://plone.293351.n2.nabble.com/communication-about-updates-to-hotfixes-tp7566383p7566393.html Sent from the Core Developers mailing list archive at Nabble.com. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ This SF.net email is sponsored by Windows: Build for Windows Store. http://p.sf.net/sfu/windows-dev2dev _______________________________________________ Plone-developers mailing list [email protected] https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/plone-developers
