I agree with Peter. If the original hotfix deserves a plone.org news item and emails to plone-dev and other lists then I think that any dot release of that hotfix should be posted to the same places. Even though the 1.1-1.3 of the hotfix fix isolated problems for only a small number users, not knowing that it was a known issue and that there was a fix has caused me and others wasted time trying to debug. An email would have been nice.
