Permanent redirects for pending-urls after release?

Hello,

Question for the release-manager / sysadmin-team:

Would it be much effort to create permanent redirects for the temporary 
"pending"-urls after the actual release is made?

E.g. make urls like http://dist.plone.org/release/4.3.2-pending/ redirect to
http://dist.plone.org/release/4.3.2/  instead of returning a 404?


Not having this, can suddenly breaks buildouts like this

Which might be a reason for some to rather wait for the final release.
