p.a.drafts is just a temporary store. When you're on an "add" form, no
content exists, so there's nowhere for the image to go. p.a.drafts gives a
way to store some data temporarily and then copy it back onto the object
when it is created. I think you'd need to do something "special" to put an
image inside the newly created content. I think p.a.drafts has hooks that
you can use for that.
