hi taranjeet,

i'm glad someone showed interest to work in this area of plone.

all plone's javascript/less code is in github.com/plone/mockup and
documentation how to get started is on plone.github.io/mockup. look at the
examples (warning: some are not working) and go through the code.

there are few things we are looking for some help (listed in order of priority):
 - reimplementation of recurrence widget
 - dexterity editor in pure javascript (outputs plone.superschema xml)
 - theming editor needs to be migrated to mockup (and tested)
there are also a lot of smaller things that need to be fixed, but i listed only
3 for now.

libraries that are used in mockup and are quite important to know them (or at
least the concepts) are:
 - jquery
 - backbone
 - reactjs
there are many other libraries but this are biggest that actually need a bit of
reading to understand them.

i hope i gave you good starting point to know where to start looking in order
to finish your proposal.
