For the text transforms you'll need to look at the existing packages as well as the partially completed one, and see what is currently possible and what's missing. A good way of doing that would be to find out what transforms are being used and which aren't, and see why that is. For the Dexterity Schema specification you will need to experiment with creating new dexterity content types and seeing how people are currently specifying schemata. That project needs a lot of fleshing out as to how things are recognised for the parsing, which will likely be the bulk of the work, so start thinking about how to do that.
