GSOC : Improved text transforms

Hi,

I am a third year computer science student. Going through the ideas for
GSOC I found the idea for Improving text transforms very interesting. I
have been actively programming in Python for two years now and am quite
good in it.

I have installed Plone and am going through

Please guide me with the next steps I should do to understand the idea
better and come up with a good proposal.
