Hi, we have currently a state of confusion referring to plone.app.contenttypes, plone.app.event and plone.app.widgets. all those packages gets heavily pushed forward to Plone 5 at the moment, which is a good thing. But in my opinion a real world useable version of Plone 5 is realistically expectable somewhen at the end of this year. Thus in real project life we're going to have to stick to Plone 4 a little longer. So, to speak for myself, when realizing projects, with future migration paths in mind, i use plone.app.contenttypes and plone.app.event and Plone 4.3 latest, and skip plone.app.widgets, since they make too much troubles in Plone 4. I cannot find an official documentation which versions are supposed to be used in which version of Plone and what a user can expect this packages directing in future. I also asked Hannes, but he's also unclear about this questions. May someone enlighten the Community please? ;) Cheers Robert ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Put Bad Developers to Shame Dominate Development with Jenkins Continuous Integration Continuously Automate Build, Test & Deployment Start a new project now.
