Hi, just saw Victor's c.gridlets. It looks awesome, but I'd still like to prefer tiles in the long run, because they are so much simpler (in every way) than porlets. > I am currently looking at reaching the objectives described by Guido by only using plone.tiles and plone.app.tiles, but not plone.app.blocks, because of the issue discussed here: > https://github.com/plone/plone.app.blocks/issues/5 It looks like blocks transform is registered for blocks browser layer, so why not just: - Leave the p.a.blocks profile unimported. - Stamp only those requests rendering pages with tiles with the blocks layer (e.g. in view __init__ so that blocks transform would only be active for those requests). Seems that you'll have a lot of fun at Sorrento :) Cheers, Asko ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Learn Graph Databases - Download FREE O'Reilly Book "Graph Databases" is the definitive new guide to graph databases and their applications.
