i just finished the work on restoring Plone 4.3 / plone.app.widgets
compatibility on plone.app.event and released the new version 1.2.4 (no
old eggs were deleted. that was just a bad idea).

my plan is to keep plone.app.event 1.x+ compatible with Plone 4.3.
have a look at the version compatibility table on
https://pypi.python.org/pypi/plone.app.event/1.2.4

remarks:
- plone.app.widgets 1.6 breaks tests with plone.app.event 1.2.4 (likely
because of the timezone related changes for plone.app.event 2.0).
- plone.app.contenttypes 1.2a3 depends on plone.app.event 2.0. this
should be fixed. IMO: create new 2.0.x branch and revert my p.a.e 2.0
related changes in 1.2.x (@tisto, @pbauer..?)
