branch of the package, aimed to Plone 5.0, is breaking compatibility
with Plone 4.x in other branches?

this makes no sense according to the compatibility matrix in
https://pypi.python.org/pypi/plone.app.event

can you confirm that version 1.1.x of the package is still compatible
with Plone 4.3?

Plone 5.0? why we are complicating things so much?

everyday I'm more convinced that we will need Plone 4.4 to avoid a
nightmare scenario with all of these new features that are not fully
