Most of the major features of Plone 5 have been built to be usable in 4.3. The hope is that getting them real world use would give us feedback on what does/doesn't work before Plone 5 is released. I'd rather we provide a clear path of how to opt in to using those packages in 4.3. Timewise, it's going to be far quicker than cutting a new feature release.
